One of the concerns of parents when it comes to vacations is making sure that there are no glitches. From choosing the right Disney vacation home to transportation, list of places to visit, dining options, and the things they need to bring with them - everything should be ready and expected to proceed as planned. This is all done to ensure that the family gets to have a great and memorable Disney experience. Planning and preparation are important as well as keeping all members of the family involved from start to finish will help make this happen.
It all starts by making your research on the internet for vacation packages that can help make planning a Disney vacation easier. This way you know what is in store for the family, the possible expenses that would be incurred, and the options you have. There are various Disney vacation rentals available for you to choose from depending on you requirements. You can get a two-bedroom house or more if you want that each family member gets their own bed or room. It would be a great plus to be able to provide the privacy that each family member needs and there would be no fighting over who gets the bed or the couch and the like.
Comfort and privacy are two luxuries that would entice you to stay in a Disney vacation home. There are no strangers lurking around hallways and you would not be bothered by the going ins and outs of other guests. Plus there would be no need to share the pool with other people thus you do not have to worry when your kids take a dip in the pool. It is certainly safer for you and your family. You also need not worry about the neighborhood as most of the vacation homes are located in small communities near Disney World and have great security features.
Consulting each family member about what they want to see and visit while at Disney would ensure that you are able to include these in your plans. Listing down the rides and the shows would serve as your guide so that you can enjoy them all. As much as you want everything to happen as planned, it is inevitable that changes have to be made, so it is best to discuss things first before leaving your Disney vacation rental for the day. This is to make sure that each family member is aware of the changes should you get separated while taking in all the attractions in Disney.
The weather in Florida is unpredictable and you need to be ready for it. It could be real hot in the summer so it is best that you got skin protection as well as a head covering. There is also a chance that it might rain, so be sure to pack your rain gear as well. Rain or shine, there is fun and excitement at Disney World. When you get back to your Disney vacation home at the end of the day, you will definitely need to get a good night sleep to recharge yourselves for the adventures that awaits your family the following day.

Disney Vacation with Canon EOS 5D Mark II
This video demonstrates the Canon EOS 5D Mark II's ability to perform as a camcorder replacement on vacation. Using this camera allowed me not to have to take a separate video camera. I shot this all in automatic mode, and, as you can see, it performed very well. In low light conditions, I was disappointed with the color noise (particularly red). But with a better lens (mine was an f/4 lens), this may have been less of an issue. You can see the still photos this camera took at www.flickr.com
